Artist Biography
Rebbekah Ogden is a Calgary-based artist whose interests in the arts spans multiple artistic disciplines, with visual art being the first artistic form she fell in love with. In 2020 she received an FRSA in Theatre Arts following her four years of study at Rosebud School of the Arts. Following graduation she worked as a professional actor for some of the most prestigious theatres in Calgary.
She began her pursuit of visual art in 2014 and has had the pleasure of being mentored by artists Randall Wiebe and Julie Himel.
In 2020 she received the Bloom Grant award for visual art and had the pleasure to be involved in Arts Commons, RBC Emerging Visual Artist Program in the year 2022. Her work has been exhibited at The Martha Cohen Theatre,Jubilee Auditorium in Calgary, Arts Commons, in the Vertigo Lobby, the Akokiniskway Gallery in Rosebud and the Godfrey Dean Art Gallery in Yorkton SK.
